Food Prices Today in West Java: Red Chili Up, Oil Down

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (October 11, 2025) at 08.44 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 9 increased and 14 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include premium rice, SPHP rice, packaged wheat flour, red bird's eye chili, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, dried soybeans (imported), packaged cooking oil, shallots, and consumption sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The large red chili commodity saw the highest increase of Rp3,756 (6.03%) to Rp66,000 per kg. Meanwhile, mackerel fish prices experienced the deepest decline of Rp2,509 (5.94%) to Rp39,750 per kg.
