Food Prices in West Java, Tuesday (1/10): What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (1/10/2024) at 08:48 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are iodized fine salt, farmer-level corn, SPHP rice, medium rice, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, chicken eggs, broiler chicken, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp370 (6.81%) to Rp5,800 per kg. Meanwhile, red chilies saw the sharpest price drop of Rp4,540 (15.8%) to Rp24,190 per kg.
