Today's Food Prices in Banten: Onions Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (30/10/2024) at 08.45 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are SPHP rice, farmer-level corn, dry soybean (import), fine iodized salt, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic cloves, granulated sugar, medium rice, broiler chicken meat, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp4,880 (17.2%) to Rp33,250 per kg. Milkfish prices saw the steepest decrease of Rp4,680 (14.5%) to Rp27,590 per kg.
