The Price of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil in Gorontalo is the Highest Nationally (Friday, May 31, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of branded packaged cooking oil (1 kg) in modern markets across several provinces at Rp 21,530 per kg, as of Friday, May 31, 2024. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 21,680 per kg.

The daily price of branded packaged cooking oil (1 kg) in modern markets in Gorontalo was the highest in Indonesia, at Rp 26,100 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of branded packaged cooking oil in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 18,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in South Sulawesi, the price of branded packaged cooking oil was Rp 25,600 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of branded packaged cooking oil in South Sumatra was Rp 25,200 per kg, West Sulawesi Rp 24,250 per kg, and Lampung Rp 24,200 per kg.

Meanwhile, there were 19 provinces with branded packaged cooking oil (1 kg) sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for branded packaged cooking oil (1 kg) were West Kalimantan, Riau Islands, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
