Food Prices in West Sumatra Region Friday (22/8), How Much is the Price of Onions?

Prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (22/8/2025) at 14.59 WIB, out of 24 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include packaged cooking oil, broiler chicken meat, SPHP rice, large red chili, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, fresh buffalo meat (local), bulk wheat flour, bulk cooking oil, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Broiler chicken meat commodity jumped the highest by Rp561 (1.61%) to Rp35,448 per kg. The price of milkfish fell the sharpest by Rp5,000 (11.11%) to Rp40,000 per kg.
