Latest Food Prices in East Java: Salt, Beef, and Sugar Prices Decline

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (October 14, 2025) at 12:46 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 13 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include Minyakita cooking oil, medium rice, chicken eggs, broiler chicken meat, and large red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, red bird's eye chilies, SPHP rice, consumption sugar, and garlic bulbs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest increase of Rp571 (1.14%) to Rp50,776 per kg. Meanwhile, red bird's eye chilies experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp1,088 (3.73%) to Rp28,087 per kg.
