Sumatera Barat Food Price List Today: Onion, Sugar, and Rice Prices Down (Thursday, December 21, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (21/12/2023) at 11:44 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, bulk cooking oil, milkfish, skipjack tuna, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili, granulated sugar, red chili peppers, pure beef, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase of Rp6,050 (18.83%) to Rp38,180 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the largest price decrease of Rp4,740 (9.13%) to Rp47,180 per kg.
