Current Food Prices in West Java: Egg Prices Rise, Onion Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (6/8/2024) at 08.39 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, premium rice, mackerel fish, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, bulk wheat flour, SPHP rice, simple packaged cooking oil, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel fish experienced the highest price increase of Rp540 (1.37%) to Rp40,010 per kg. Shallots experienced the largest price decrease of Rp2,510 (9.74%) to Rp23,250 per kg.

8. Chicken Meat: Rp34,220 per kg (down 2.84%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,700 per kg (up 0.29%)
10. Shallots: Rp23,250 per kg (down 9.74%)
