Current Food Prices in West Java: Prices of Rice, Sugar, and Chilies Decrease

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (11/9/2024) at 14.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken, bulk wheat flour, milkfish, simple packaged cooking oil, and shallot garlic.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, skipjack tuna, mackerel, broiler eggs, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallot garlic experienced the highest price increase of Rp110 (0.29%) to Rp38,550 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean (import) decreased the most, by Rp140 (1.27%) to Rp10,870 per kg.
