Latest Food Prices in Bali: Red Chili Price Up, Bird''s Eye Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (September 18, 2025) at 08:10 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are bulk wheat flour, bulk cooking oil, garlic (whole head), Minyakita, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as corn at farmer level, packaged wheat flour, shallots, consumption salt, and packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Curly red chili commodity surged the highest by Rp11,250 (32.14%) to Rp46,250 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at farmer level dropped the deepest by Rp950 (14.39%) to Rp5,650 per kg.

Here is the complete list of prices for 23 food commodities in Bali according to Bapanas on September 18, 2025, at 08:10 AM WIB.

3. Mackerel: Rp45,000 per kg (up 18.66%)
4. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp41,144 per kg (up 0.86%)
5. Milkfish: Rp40,000 per kg (up 9.09%)
6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp35,000 per kg (up 10.89%)
7. Large Red Chili: Rp33,287 per kg (up 5.02%)
8. Garlic (Whole Head): Rp32,286 per kg (up 4.15%)
9. Shallots: Rp32,000 per kg (down 0.26%)
10. Red Bird''s Eye Chili: Rp29,286 per kg (down 8.24%)
11. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp27,857 per kg (up 1.44%)
12. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp20,143 per liter (up 4.02%)
13. Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp19,214 per liter (down 1.03%)
