Today's Food Prices (25/2) in Central Java: Chicken Meat, Onion and Soybean Prices Drop

Today, the prices of several food commodities in Central Java were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (February 25, 2026) at 15:17 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 8 decreased.

Commodities with price increases are beef rump, loose granulated sugar, shallots, medium rice, and bulk palm cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red cayenne pepper, curly red chili, imported soybeans, broiler chicken meat, and Honan garlic decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Medium rice commodity jumped the highest by Rp21 (0.16%) to Rp13,231 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili price dropped the most by Rp2,176 (5.88%) to Rp34,824 per kg.

5. Large Red Chili: Rp35,635 per kg (down 2.63%)
6. Curly Red Chili: Rp34,824 per kg (down 5.88%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp32,466 per kg (down 0.18%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp29,824 per kg (down 0.21%)
9. Packaged Premium Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,713 per liter (unchanged)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp17,873 per liter (up 0.03%)
