Today's Food Prices (19/2) in West Java: Red Chili Rises, Sugar Falls

Several food commodity prices in West Java today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (February 19, 2026) at 17:28 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 3 decreased.

Commodities that experienced price increases are large red chilies, shallots, broiler chicken eggs, broiler chicken meat, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as bulk granulated sugar, Honan garlic, and wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of large red chilies jumped the highest by Rp1,148 (2.56%) to Rp45,957 per kg. Meanwhile, wheat flour prices fell the deepest by Rp129 (1.08%) to Rp11,843 per kg.

2. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp89,401 per kg (up 1.68%)
3. Large Red Chili: Rp45,957 per kg (up 2.56%)
4. Curly Red Chili: Rp44,235 per kg (up 1.13%)
5. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp42,130 per kg (up 0.49%)
6. Shallots: Rp41,037 per kg (up 0.91%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp35,707 per kg (down 0.28%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp31,086 per kg (up 0.13%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,324 per liter (unchanged)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,483 per liter (up 0.1%)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,574 per kg (down 0.56%)
12. Minyakita: Rp15,700 per liter (unchanged)
