Latest Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Salt Up, Onions Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 10:34 WIB, out of 22 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include table salt, chicken eggs, milkfish, granulated sugar, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, red onions, premium rice, dry soybeans (import), and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp3,268 (8.63%) to Rp41,125 per kg. Meanwhile, red onion prices decreased the most sharply by Rp3,244 (6.96%) to Rp43,333 per kg.
