Today's Food Prices February 04 in Central Java: Red Chili Up, Oil Down

Some food commodity prices in Central Java today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (February 4, 2026) at 15:17 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 2 decreased.

Commodities with price increases are large red chilies, broiler chicken eggs, curly red chilies, broiler chicken meat, and red cayenne peppers.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as beef rump and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili prices jumped the highest by Rp1,426 (4.97%) to Rp30,093 per kg. Meanwhile, Minyakita prices fell the steepest by Rp185 (1.15%) to Rp15,856 per liter.

2. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp65,093 per kg (up 3.9%)
3. Shallots: Rp37,315 per kg (up 2.44%)
4. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp37,259 per kg (up 1.36%)
5. Honan Garlic: Rp33,556 per kg (up 1.01%)
6. Large Red Chili: Rp31,750 per kg (up 1.33%)
7. Curly Red Chili: Rp30,093 per kg (up 4.97%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp27,306 per kg (up 0.41%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp21,130 per liter (unchanged)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,096 per liter (up 0.49%)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp16,900 per kg (unchanged)
12. Minyakita: Rp15,856 per liter (down 1.15%)
