Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta: Salt Prices Rise, Chicken Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (7/6/2024) at 11:52 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, premium rice, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, pure beef, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), shallots, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp310 (2.65%) to Rp12,000 per kg. Chicken meat had the lowest price decrease of Rp620 (1.79%) to Rp34,020 per kg.
