Banten Food Price Update Today: Fish Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Wednesday, December 6, 2023)

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (6/12/2023) at 11:20 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 15 commodities increased in price and 5 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, chicken eggs, garlic bulbs, milkfish, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel experienced the highest increase, jumping Rp1,580 (4.05%) to Rp40,600 per kg. The price of shallots saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp2,810 (9.25%) to Rp27,570 per kg.
