Lampung Region Food Prices Saturday (21/12): Chili Prices Up, Cooking Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 12:19 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, mackerel, bulk cooking oil, chicken eggs, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), milkfish, pure beef, fine iodized salt, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies saw the highest increase, jumping Rp4,290 (11.11%) to Rp42,910 per kg. The price of corn at the farmer level saw the steepest decrease, dropping Rp260 (5.37%) to Rp4,580 per kg.
