East Java Food Prices on Monday (March 10): Onion Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (10/03/2025) at 14:29 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, broiler chicken, farmer-level corn, pure beef, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybeans (import), table salt, skipjack tuna, large red chilies, and broiler eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp784 (1.94%) to Rp41,185 per kg. Large red chilies saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp2,208 (4.75%) to Rp44,292 per kg.
