Current Food Prices in Jambi Region: Red Chili Rises, Onions Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (8/25/2025) at 10:18 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 6 increased and 16 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include mackerel, curly red chili, broiler eggs, bulk cooking oil, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, pure beef, consumption salt, consumption sugar, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

The large red chili commodity saw the highest increase of Rp500 (1.76%) to Rp28,833 per kg. Meanwhile, red onion prices experienced the deepest decrease of Rp1,630 (4.08%) to Rp38,370 per kg.
