West Java Food Prices Wednesday (November 6th): Onion Prices Up, Rice Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (6/11/2024) at 15.22 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 15 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, SPHP rice, shallot bulbs, red onions, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, bulk wheat flour, red chilies, medium rice, and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onion prices saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp820 (2.46%) to Rp34,200 per kg. Farmer-level corn prices saw the sharpest decrease, dropping by Rp90 (1.59%) to Rp5,560 per kg.
