The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) reported that the realization of ministry/agency (K/L) spending reached Rp253.58 trillion. This amount is equivalent to 26.81% of the 2022 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) ceiling of Rp945.75 trillion.
In detail, personnel expenditure realization reached Rp81.02 trillion or 30.44% of the ceiling. This personnel expenditure realization was used for the payment of salaries and allowances for civil servants/TNI/Polri, as well as the payment of holiday allowances (THR).
Then, the realization of goods expenditure reached Rp77.01 trillion or 22.79% of the ceiling. This realization was mainly used for the operational school assistance (BOS) program for students, public service agencies (BLU) for palm oil, and office service activities.
In addition, the realization of goods expenditure was also used for the procurement of facilities and infrastructure, security operation activities, other public service activities in several ministries/agencies, and handling the impact of Covid-19.
Next, the realization of capital expenditure reached Rp33.37 trillion or 16.7% of the ceiling. This expenditure realization includes capital expenditure on equipment and machinery used for the procurement of equipment for the Indonesian National Police and the Ministry of Defense.
Capital expenditure was also used for building construction at the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), and Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Then, capital expenditure on roads, networks, and irrigation was used for the development of basic infrastructure and connectivity at the Ministry of PUPR and the Ministry of Transportation.
Finally, the realization of social assistance (Bansos) expenditure amounted to Rp62.18 trillion or 43.66% of the ceiling. The utilization of this Bansos realization was used for the disbursement of the Family Hope Program (PKH) phase II assistance to 10 million families.
There was also the disbursement of staple food card assistance from January to May to 18.8 million families and the payment of national health insurance (JKN) premium assistance for 84.9 million participants from the recipient contribution assistance (PBI) segment.
Furthermore, educational assistance through the Indonesia Pintar Basic and Secondary Education Program was disbursed to 10.2 million students, as well as KIP Kuliah educational assistance to 612,700 students.
