Lampung's Cooking Oil Price is the Nation's Highest (Friday, July 5, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of cooking oil (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces at Rp 21,420 per kg, data as of Friday, July 5, 2024. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to last week's average of Rp 21,870 per kg.

The daily price of cooking oil in modern markets in Lampung was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 26,050 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of cooking oil in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 17,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, in Gorontalo's modern markets, cooking oil was sold at Rp 24,650 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of cooking oil in South Sulawesi was Rp 24,650 per kg, East Nusa Tenggara Rp 24,500 per kg, and North Maluku Rp 24,100 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 19 provinces with cooking oil sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest cooking oil selling prices are South Kalimantan, Riau Islands, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
