This tax revenue consisted of tax receipts of Rp1,448.2 trillion, up 51.8% (yoy) from Rp953.8 trillion, and customs and excise duties of Rp256.3 trillion, up 24.6% (yoy) from Rp205.8 trillion.

Furthermore, non-tax state revenue (PNBP) realization reached Rp476.5 trillion, increasing by 36.4% compared to the same period last year, which was Rp349.2 trillion.

Meanwhile, state expenditure realization reached Rp2,351.1 trillion until October 2022. This achievement increased by 14.2% (yoy) from October 2021, which was Rp2,058.9 trillion.

Because state revenue was lower than state expenditure, the Indonesian APBN experienced a deficit in October 2022. This ended the trend of consecutive APBN surpluses from January to September 2022.
