Bali's Daily Food Prices: Onion, Salt, and Rice Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (20/10/2024) at 09.31 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, SPHP rice, milkfish, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, granulated sugar, red chili peppers, curly red chilies, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp2,400 (9.6%) to Rp27,390 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most, down by Rp1,290 (19.75%) to Rp5,240 per kg.

9. Red Onion: Rp24,050 per kg (up 3.8%)
