Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Chicken Meat, Onion, and Rice Prices Decrease

Today, the prices of several food ingredients in Central Java are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (October 3, 2025) at 09:56 AM Western Indonesian Time, out of 25 commodities, 5 commodities experienced price increases and 20 commodities saw decreases.

The commodities with increased prices are pure beef, consumption salt, broiler chicken eggs, farmer-level corn, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as consumption sugar, medium rice, shallots, dry soybean seeds (imported), and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumption salt prices increased the most by Rp415 (3.84%) to Rp11,209 per kg. As for large red chili prices, they dropped the sharpest by Rp1,736 (3.86%) to Rp43,295 per kg.
