Food Prices in Central Java Wednesday (Oct 8), How much is Red Chili?

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (Oct 8, 2025) at 09:53 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases are skipjack tuna, pure beef, bulk wheat flour, mackerel, and packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as garlic cloves, medium rice, dried soybean (imported), milkfish, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel prices increased the most by Rp902 (2.65%) to Rp34,929 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fresh buffalo meat (local) dropped sharply by Rp144,375 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
