Jambi Region Food Prices Thursday (19/12): Chili Prices Up, Cooking Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (19/12/2024) at 13.21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, dry soybean (import), curly red chilies, mackerel, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, tongkol fish, bulk cooking oil, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp910 (2.76%) to Rp33,890 per kg. Milkfish prices fell the most sharply, dropping Rp2,560 (8.39%) to Rp27,950 per kg.
