Today's Food Prices (06/1) in Bali: Onions Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food items in Bali today were observed to rise compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (January 6, 2026) at 3:15 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 2 decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are red bird's eye chili, Honan garlic, and shallots.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Honan garlic saw the highest increase of Rp750 (2.3%) to Rp33,389 per kg. The price of curly red chili experienced the sharpest drop of Rp1,250 (3.67%) to Rp32,833 per kg.
