Current Food Prices in Lampung: Egg Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (5/11/2024) at 14.10 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, chicken eggs, pure beef, broiler chicken, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, premium rice, SPHP rice, shallots, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp280 (6.22%), reaching Rp4,780 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili experienced the sharpest price decrease of Rp860 (2.35%), reaching Rp35,720 per kg.
