Current Food Prices in Aceh: Beef and Oil Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (June 11, 2024) at 2 PM WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, granulated sugar, bulk wheat flour, medium-grain rice, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, bulk cooking oil, iodized fine salt, shallots, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was red chilies, up by Rp1,250 (2.24%) to Rp56,950 per kg. The commodity with the steepest price decrease was skipjack tuna, down by Rp1,210 (4.75%) to Rp24,290 per kg.
