Latest Jambi Region Food Prices: Cooking Oil Up, Chilies Down (Wednesday, March 27, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (27/3/2024) at 10:35 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged simple cooking oil and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken meat, chicken eggs, Indian mackerel, skipjack tuna, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp120 (1.49%) to Rp8,200 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the least, by Rp1,210 (3.25%) to Rp36,020 per kg.
