Today's Food Prices (Dec 11) in South Sumatra: Red Chili and Egg Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (Dec 11, 2025) at 18:26 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 increased and 1 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are large red chilies, red onions, broiler eggs, and Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, only broiler chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Red onions saw the highest jump of Rp417 (0.92%) to Rp45,667 per kg. The price of broiler chicken meat, however, experienced the sharpest decline of Rp83 (0.22%) to Rp38,167 per kg.

6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp38,167 per kg (down 0.22%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp34,333 per kg (up 0.49%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp28,333 per kg (up 0.29%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,000 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,000 per liter (stable)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,000 per kg (stable)
12. Minyakita: Rp15,800 per liter (stable)
