West Java Food Prices Monday (October 28th): Egg Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (28/10/2024) at 09.45 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 20 commodities decreased in price.

The only commodity that increased in price was chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, shallots, SPHP rice, medium rice, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of chicken eggs saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp640 (2.41%) to Rp27,180 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies experienced the steepest decrease, dropping by Rp2,960 (10.69%) to Rp24,730 per kg.
