Today's Food Prices in West Java: Rice, Chili, and Onion Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (20/10/2024) at 13.20 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include wheat flour (bulk), premium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, farmer-level corn, garlic bulbs, granulated sugar, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp890 (3.49%) to Rp26,410 per kg. Mackerel experienced the largest price drop of Rp960 (2.47%) to Rp37,930 per kg.
