Daily Cooking Oil Prices at Modern Markets, March 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of cooking oil in modern markets in the Yogyakarta Special Region province is recorded at Rp23,450 per kg. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day, as is the price trend over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of cooking oil in modern markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp23,600 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of cooking oil in modern markets in Yogyakarta Special Region over the past three months has increased by 2.18% from the previously recorded price of Rp22,950 per kg.

The highest recorded increase in the daily price of cooking oil in modern markets in this province was in June 2022, with an increase of 26.55%, while the lowest decrease was recorded in June 2017, with a decrease of -7.67%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Yogyakarta Special Region show two commodities decreased and 15 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Cooking Oil and Branded Cooking Oil 1.
