Current Food Prices in Central Java: Salt Up, Chicken Meat Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (September 25, 2025) at 02:28 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 increased and 16 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include pure beef, consumption salt, SPHP rice, packaged wheat flour, and Minyakita.

Meanwhile, prices for several commodities such as consumption sugar, curly red chili, red bird's eye chili, milkfish, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel price increased the most by Rp624 (1.89%) to Rp33,714 per kg. The price of broiler chicken meat decreased the most by Rp458 (1.18%) to Rp38,201 per kg.
