Indonesia's Weekly Food Prices (December 29th): Chicken Prices Up, Cooking Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (29/12/2024) at 10:51 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased in price and 14 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, Indian mackerel, red chilies, farmer-level corn, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, skipjack tuna, milkfish, garlic cloves, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Indian mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp490 (1.26%) to Rp39,350 per kg. Milkfish experienced the largest price decrease of Rp950 (2.78%) to Rp33,250 per kg.
