Chili Pepper Prices at Modern Markets, April 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of chili rawit in Lampung Province's modern markets is recorded at Rp108,000 per kg. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

However, compared to the last month, the daily price of chili rawit in modern markets has increased from Rp82,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of chili rawit in modern markets in Lampung over the last three months has increased by 62.77% from the previous record of Rp66,350 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of chili rawit in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in February 2017 with an increase of 69.96%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in October 2019 with a decrease of -33.04%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Lampung show seven commodities decreased and 13 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Fresh Layer Eggs, Chicken Eggs, Low-Quality Rice II, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Cooking Oil, Green Chili Rawit, and Large Red Chili.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price changes over the last month in Lampung Province:

2. Chicken Eggs per Kg: Rp28,500 per kg (down 5.47%)
3. Medium-Sized Red Onion per Kg: Rp69,200 per kg (up 37.71%)
4. Red Chili per Kg: Rp101,850 per kg (up 13.29%)
5. Medium-Sized Garlic per Kg: Rp59,850 per kg (up 17.12%)
6. Grade 1 Beef per Kg: Rp187,700 per kg (unchanged)
7. Garlic per Kg: Rp59,850 per kg (up 30.82%)
8. Grade 2 Beef per Kg: Rp180,200 per kg (unchanged)
9. Rice per Kg: Rp15,700 per kg (up 5.02%)
10. Chicken Meat per Kg: Rp40,550 per kg (up 5.74%)
11. Beef per Kg: Rp183,950 per kg (unchanged)
12. Premium Granulated Sugar per Kg: Rp17,900 per kg (unchanged)
