Today's Food Prices in Banten March 05: Beef, Red Chili and Chicken Meat Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in Banten today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (3/5/2026) at 15:46 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased.

Commodities that experienced price increases are curly red chili, hindquarter beef, medium rice, red bird's eye chili, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as premium rice, Honan garlic, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili prices rose the most by Rp1,250 (3.26%) to Rp39,583 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili prices fell the most by Rp208 (0.47%) to Rp44,167 per kg.
