"The improvement in the health of the Indonesian manufacturing sector strengthened at the start of the fourth quarter of 2025, boding well for the coming months," S&P Global said in a press release on Monday (3/11/2025).

They also found that this strengthening was supported by increased orders from the domestic market, while demand from abroad decreased.

"Data indicated that the expansion was domestic-driven, as Indonesian manufacturers pointed to a second successive fall in new export business amid reports of largely muted demand in international markets," they said.
