Yogyakarta Food Price Update Today: Egg Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Saturday, February 17, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday (17/2/2024) at 08.03 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 7 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, broiler chicken meat, bulk cooking oil, chicken eggs, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, premium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chili peppers, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by IDR 5,440 (14.48%) to IDR 43,000 per kg. Meanwhile, red onion prices decreased the most by IDR 6,370 (22.45%) to IDR 22,000 per kg.

1. Pure Beef: IDR 130,000 per kg (down 5.26%)
2. Curly Red Chili: IDR 72,000 per kg (down 2.86%)
3. Red Chili Peppers: IDR 60,000 per kg (down 12.41%)
4. Milkfish: IDR 43,000 per kg (up 14.48%)
5. Mackerel: IDR 38,000 per kg (down 1.5%)
6. Skipjack Tuna: IDR 36,000 per kg (up 2.27%)
7. Broiler Chicken Meat: IDR 35,000 per kg (up 0.66%)
8. Garlic Bulb: IDR 33,000 per kg (down 5.47%)
9. Chicken Eggs: IDR 30,000 per kg (up 5.08%)
10. Red Onions: IDR 22,000 per kg (down 22.45%)
11. Granulated Sugar: IDR 17,000 per kg (unchanged)
