Indonesia's 2026 Central Government Spending Plan: Largest for the Economic Function

Based on the Indonesia's 2026 Draft State Budget (RAPBN), the government has allocated Rp3,136.5 trillion for central government spending.

This figure is equivalent to 83% of the total state expenditure budget, which is valued at Rp3,786.5 trillion.

Considering its function, the largest portion of central government spending is allocated to the economic function, reaching Rp820.37 trillion, a 50% increase compared to this year.

Spending on the economic function will be channeled through several non-ministry/agency spending programs, such as energy, electricity, and fertilizer subsidies; People's Business Credit (KUR) interest; railways; economy-class sea transport; and fuel and electricity compensation payments.

9. Religion: Rp14.28 trillion

10. Environmental Protection: Rp13.35 trillion
