North Kalimantan Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down (Wednesday, January 24, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in North Kalimantan today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (24/1/2024) at 14:43 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are medium-grain rice, curly red chilies, premium rice, red chilies, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, garlic cloves, shallots, granulated sugar, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp5,390 (7.86%) to Rp73,970 per kg. Milkfish had the lowest price decrease, dropping Rp1,040 (3.93%) to Rp25,440 per kg.
