West Java Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall (Thursday, April 18, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (18/4/2024) at 16.51 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, dry soybean (import), mackerel, iodized fine salt, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, red chilies, shallots, medium rice, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel prices surged the highest by Rp2,770 (7.49%) to Rp39,740 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the least by Rp1,280 (3.01%) to Rp41,190 per kg.
