The Indonesian government has allocated Rp282 trillion for infrastructure until October 2024.

The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) reported that infrastructure budget realization from January to October 2024 reached Rp282.9 trillion.

This achievement is equivalent to 66.8% of the allocation in the 2024 State Budget (APBN) of Rp423.4 trillion.

Infrastructure budget realization until October 2024 grew by 17.8% year-on-year (yoy).

Based on its items, this budget was mostly channeled to ministry/agency (K/L) spending, amounting to Rp160.6 trillion.

"Through K/L spending, various constructions and preservation of roads, bridges, and the development of drinking water facilities, railway tracks, apartment buildings, and internet access can be directly felt by the public," wrote Finance Minister Sri Mulyani on her official Instagram account on Saturday (November 23, 2024).

Next is the transfer to regions (TKD) worth Rp72.8 trillion. This budget was used for the reconstruction of 16,525 km of roads, the construction of 30,583 km of new roads, and the rehabilitation of 1,962 km of roads.

TKD funds were also allocated for the installation of Drinking Water Supply Systems (SPAM) for 54,798 household connections, and the development of irrigation networks targeting an area of 3,020 hectares (ha).

Lastly, there is financing amounting to Rp49.1 trillion. This budget was channeled through the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) worth Rp13.7 trillion for the financing of 165,880 housing units.

There was also financing channeled through State Capital Participation (PMN) to PT HK worth Rp18.6 trillion, and funding from the State Asset Management Institute (LMAN) worth Rp7.5 trillion for 126 National Strategic Projects (PSN).

"This is all the role of the APBN #OurMoney to continue to drive improvements in competitiveness through infrastructure development," wrote Sri Mulyani.
