Top 10 Countries with the Most Billionaires in the World, January 2025: Indonesia Not Included

Forbes released a list of the world's 2,748 richest people spread across 75 countries in January 2025.

The United States had the highest number of billionaires globally as of Tuesday, January 7, 2025, with a total of 817 billionaires.

In total, the richest individuals in the United States possess a combined wealth of US$6.783 trillion (Rp105.978 trillion), assuming an exchange rate of Rp15,506 per US$1 on January 7, 2025.

China followed in second place with 393 billionaires. The total wealth of Chinese billionaires amounted to US$1.398 trillion (Rp21.851 trillion). The wealth of individual Chinese billionaires ranged from US$0.94 billion to US$52.0 billion, equivalent to Rp14.71 trillion to Rp812.4 trillion.

India came in third, with 214 billionaires and a combined wealth of US$1.000 trillion (Rp15.626 trillion).

Indonesia did not rank among the top 10 countries with the most billionaires. However, Indonesia was ranked 10th with 49 billionaires, possessing a collective wealth of US$157.05 billion (Rp2.453 trillion).
