Latest Food Prices in Aceh Region: Soybean Prices Up, Fish Prices Down (Tuesday, December 5, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (5/12/2023) at 10:07 WIB, out of 18 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, Indian mackerel, shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, bulk cooking oil, milkfish, skipjack tuna, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) saw the highest price increase of Rp4,930 (37.72%), reaching Rp18,000 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the largest price decrease of Rp7,640 (23.41%), reaching Rp25,000 per kg.

2. Curly Red Chili: Rp62,000 per kg (up 1.42%)
3. Indian Mackerel: Rp55,000 per kg (up 21.04%)
4. Garlic Bulb: Rp40,000 per kg (up 11.61%)
5. Shallot: Rp35,000 per kg (up 12.54%)
6. Broiler Chicken: Rp30,000 per kg (up 9.25%)
7. Milkfish: Rp30,000 per kg (down 12.26%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp25,000 per kg (down 23.41%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp25,000 per kg (up 0.73%)
10. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp20,000 per liter (up 16.21%)
11. Fine Iodized Salt: Rp18,000 per kg (up 27.21%)
