Current Food Prices in Bali: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (29/10/2024) at 13:18 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are skipjack tuna, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, pure beef, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, dry soybeans (import), chicken eggs, red chilies, and red cayenne peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was livestock-level corn, up by Rp240 (4.21%) to Rp5,940 per kg. The sharpest price decrease was for red chilies, down by Rp1,590 (8.06%) to Rp18,130 per kg.
