North Sumatra Food Price List Today: Beef, Chicken, and Egg Prices Increase (Sunday, January 7, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in North Sumatra have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (7/1/2024) at 15:44 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include cooking oil (curah), milkfish (bandeng), premium rice, garlic cloves, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies (rawit merah), simple packaged cooking oil, shallots, farmer-level corn, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,690 (4.64%), reaching Rp38,100 per kg. Meanwhile, red chilies (rawit merah) saw the lowest price decrease of Rp5,600 (9.42%), reaching Rp53,840 per kg.
