Bali Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Friday, March 1, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (1/3/2024) at 11:28 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, mackerel, whole garlic cloves, simple packaged cooking oil, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, red chili peppers, curly red chilies, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,420 (3.99%) to Rp36,980 per kg. Red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp10,160 (13.64%) to Rp64,310 per kg.
